The Bucks County Renaissance Faire returns Labor Day weekend

Posted

Hear ye, hear ye! The Bucks County Renaissance Faire returns for its third annual celebration this Labor Day weekend — Sept. 5, 6 and 7, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily — at the historic TileWorks of Bucks County, 130 E. Swamp Road in Doylestown. Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned faire-goer, there's something exciting to explore around every corner.

After two consecutive sold-out seasons, the Renaissance Faire has become a beloved end-of-summer tradition in Bucks County. More than 115 artisan craft and food vendors will offer handcrafted treasures, hearty meals, locally crafted mead, turkey legs and delicious sweets, including DaVinci's Snow Cone Contraption, an 8-ft.-tall human-powered hamster wheel that creates frozen treats.

Kids will delight in the enchanting mermaid grotto, petting zoo and magical gem mining. Families can also join immersive faire-wide games and scavenger hunts — fun that gets everyone in on the action.

Returning performers include Falconry Girl and her majestic birds of prey; Celtic magicians Daniel GreenWolf & Bella; juggler and sword-swallower David Darwin; and several musical acts, all performing across four stages throughout the day.

The knights of Armored Combat Worldwide return for thrilling live medieval battle, while Daly Riders display their skills during equestrian stunt shows. Guests of all ages can try archery, axe-throwing and dagger-tossing, or enter the daily costume contest — categories for adults, kids and groups — for prizes worthy of a bard's tale.

The TileWorks Museum offers tours and tilemaking demos, and Crooked Eye Brewery returns as the local pub partner.

Advance tickets at BucksRenFaire.com are strongly recommended to secure entry. Tickets are $10–$20, with free admission for children 4 and under. Veterans, active-duty military and seniors receive discounts. No on-site parking; park free at Union & N. Broad St. in Doylestown and ride the complimentary shuttles.

Make haste, adventure awaits!
