The Feasterville Rotary Club recently had the pleasure of awarding the Elizabeth Moyer Scholarship to two amazing young women.
The Elizabeth Moyer Memorial Scholarship was established by the Feasterville Rotary in 1980 and is awarded annually to graduating seniors.
The Feasterville Rotary was able to award two scholarships this year due to the generous support of the community for its fundraising efforts and a monetary gift bequeathed from a longtime rotary member..
The scholarships were awarded to Melanie Molina and Miranda Burg, both of Feasterville and graduates of Neshaminy High School. Both girls will continue their education at Temple University. Along with their stellar academic achievements, they have a passion for helping others, which exemplifies the rotary's motto of "service above self".
There were many impressive candidates, but these two rose to the top.
Congratulations to Miranda and Melanie! We wish them all the best as they begin their college careers.
